november 2008 – the italian architect vincenzo del monaco used the exibition room for a 3x3x1m installation with the title "mindscape - scenaprima". the solid frame – part of a trilogy – is described by vincenzo and his colleague giuseppe zagaria as followed: "a white structure serves as supporter for an random composition made of calcified gestures and forms. admittedly these are the results of an insecure archeology, but yet they possess confident roots." vincenzo del monaco dealt with ceramics in the traditional family factory before he studied architecture. the exhibit represents both disciplines each with their own criteria.
