LINIERT fashion and design studio: extending
going against the prevailing kitsch and garden gnome mentality is no easy task. the project of rebuilding a one-family house dating from the late 80s demonstrates that such an exercise can be succesful, as long as the confrontation with the existing matter trakes place not on a formal but on a contextual level. a new, spacious living room with a view of bratislava not only counterbalances the numerous little rooms of the old stock but also serves as link between the two separate buildings. closing this gap and reorganizing the internal and external access, the building received both a new identity and pathways for movement. client: aldeco s.r.o. / 2007
