this rooftop wins first place in the category „noble“. the building close to the city center is one of the first reinforced concrete constructions in vienna. the extremely thin and not particularly stable ceiling, combined with the desire for maximum vertical space required us to create a special construction from which to suspend the planned installations. the concept of the well-lit three-story room could not be entirely realized as planned, because the municipal authorities involved did not grant us permission. during the realisation itself the project suffered from various modifications because the detailed planning was not part of our job. in collaboration with boris enev. client: michaela funder / 1994
