an international company specializing in hydraulic systems would like to construct a new distribution center for the former eastern bloc countries, with an industrial park in bratislava serving as a location. although at first glance it might seem as if the plan for the building is simply the three-dimensional transformation of the company logo – the second look reveals the much more exiting process in which the whole thing changes and divides to form something completely new. in the majority of cases, obedience to an ostensible functionality leads to the neglect of the spirit of a project, forgetting all these categories that represent a building long after the talks about obvious use had ended – but only in most cases. client: hansaflex s.r.o. / 2003
